San Antonio, TX (June 14, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Saturday morning in the San Antonio area left three people injured. At around 3 a.m., on June 11, the San Antonio Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on San Antonio’s northeast side.
Reports provided by the police show that a small black vehicle was traveling in the 6300 block of Interstate Highway 35. For unknown reasons, the vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler on the roadway. The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to strike a pedestrian walking along the sidewalk near the interstate.
The two vehicles then went off the roadway and struck a wooden pole and through the concrete side of a nearby hotel.
The pedestrian suffered critical injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for emergency care. Two people inside the sedan were also transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway by the San Antonio Police Department.
