San Antonio, TX (November 13, 2021) – The police reported to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Friday that left two people injured. On November 12, the police, firefighters, and emergency medical services all received the notification that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Zarzamora Street.

Reports from authorities indicate that a black Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling north on South Zarzamora Street when it collided with several vehicles. The vehicle then continued forward and crashed into a utility pole.

After crashing into the pole, the vehicle proceeded forward and struck a 36-year-old male who was standing in a parking lot. A female was waiting inside her vehicle when the Tahoe crashed into her.

Both victims were transported to University Hospital for emergency care.

The driver of the vehicle is currently facing DWI charges after admitting to the police that they had been drinking.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

Our thoughts are with the victims injured in this accident. We hope for their full recovery.
