San Benito, TX (June 13, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the San Benito area claimed the lives of two people. At around 7:30 a.m., on June 10, the San Benito Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Texas State Highway 345.
Reports provided by authorities show that a delivery truck was traveling northbound in the 27,000 block of Texas State Highway 345 during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, the truck collided with a second vehicle on the roadway.
Two men inside the second vehicle suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The man, who were both in their early 30s, suffered fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.
No other injuries were reported as a result of this accident.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the San Benito Police Department.
