Tyler, TX (January 27, 2023) – Emergency crews in Tyler were called to the scene of a traffic crash that took place on Wednesday afternoon that left one person injured. On January 25, the Tyler Police Department was dispatched to a traffic crash on Bellwood Road.
According to reports, two vehicles collided on Bellwood Road at the intersection of Lyons Avenue. The impact of the crash caused one vehicle to overturn. The driver became trapped inside of the vehicle.
Firefighters out of Tyler responded to the scene to extricate the victim. The injured party was in providing care at the scene and transported to a local hospital, where they underwent further treatment for the injuries they suffered in the traffic accident.
The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
