San Antonio, TX – Man Struck by Train near S Presa St & Conrad St

San Antonio, TX (October 25, 2021) – A young man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a skateboarding accident in downtown San Antonio late Sunday evening. At around 10:15 p.m., on October 24, the police in San Antonio were called to the site of a crash on South Presa Street.

Reports from authorities show that a man in his 20s was riding a skateboard across train tracks located in the area of South Presa Street and Conrad Street. For unknown reasons, the man was struck by a train as it passed through the area.

The man sustained serious injuries after being dragged approximately 50-yards. He suffered the loss of a leg and a severe head injury. He was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center where he was admitted in critical condition.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
