Tyler, TX (March 3, 2023) – Just past midnight on Friday morning, March 3, a man was hit by a car while changing a tire in Tyler.
The incident was reported near Loop 323 at 34th Street. The victim was reportedly on the side of the road changing a tire when he was hit by an oncoming motorist. The at-fault driver proceeded to flee the scene.
The victim was found by a passerby near the crash site, and he was hospitalized in critical condition. Local authorities believe that have identified the suspect, but no more information is currently available.
