San Antonio, TX (May 4, 2022) – A pedestrian accident reported in the San Antonio area late Saturday evening sent one man to a local hospital with injuries. Just after 9:45 p.m., on April 30, calls for assistance came in surrounding an auto accident on Marbach Road.
Reports from authorities show that an adult male pedestrian was walking in the 8100 block of Marbach Road during the evening hours. As the man attempted to cross the roadway, he was struck by a silver sedan.
The involved vehicle fled the scene of the accident but was later located by the San Antonio Police Department. The driver was arrested and it was determined that he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
