Midlothian, TX – Truck Collision on US-287 near 14th St Ends in Injuries

Midlothian, TX (October 28, 2021) – At least one person was hospitalized with injuries following a motor vehicle accident in Midlothian on Wednesday morning, October 27. Just before 9:44 a.m., authorities were called to the site of a crash on US Highway 287.

Reports from authorities show that a four-door blue Honda Civic, a light-colored four-door Nissan Altima, and a semi-truck were involved in a crash on the eastbound side of US Highway 287 in the area of 14th Street.

One of the passenger vehicles suffered severe damage, trapping the male driver inside. Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the man from his vehicle. He was rushed to a local hospital for care.

At this time, details surrounding any additional victims are limited.

The cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
