Abilene, TX (May 6, 2022) – A traffic-related incident reporting and Abilene on Wednesday evening has claimed the lives of two victims, according to local news sources. At around 9 p.m., on May 4, the Abilene Police Department was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Highway 83/84.
Reports from authorities show that a 96-year-old man from the Abilene area was traveling on Highway 83/84 when his vehicle became involved in a head-on collision with an SUV near Kirby Lake.
The elderly man in the driver of the SUV, a 35-year-old woman from Abilene, were both fatally injured in this accident. The two victims were pronounced deceased at the scene.
