Adrian, TX (February 10, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Oldham County claimed the lives of several victims. At around 1:40 p.m., on February 7, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 40.
Reports from DPS indicate that a 2001 GMC Yukon was traveling west on the interstate when it became involved in an accident with an eastbound 2016 Kenworth truck. The Yukon rolled over and came to rest on the passenger side in the center median.
The driver of the Yukon, 25-year-old Sabrina Watson, suffered fatal injuries. Watson was pronounced deceased at the scene by responding officers.
Three children in the Yukon, ages 7-years, 3-years, and 8-months, were also declared deceased at the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was transported to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
