Arlington, TX (January 13, 2022) – A suspected street racing incident in the Arlington area has claimed one person’s life on Tuesday, January 11.
Reports from the Arlington Police Department show that 45-year-old Priscilla Rodriquez was driving a Porsche Cayenne north on West Green Oaks Boulevard at a high rate of speed when her vehicle broadsided a Honda Accord as it attempt4ed to turn from Lee Drive onto the roadway.
The 30-year-old driver of the Honda was killed instantly in the accident. Rodriguez and a 20-year-old passenger in the Honda were both transported to area hospitals for care.
Rodriguez faces two counts of racing on a highway causing serious bodily injury or death.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
