Arlington, TX (October 16, 2021) – One woman has lost her life following a pedestrian accident on the South Side of Arlington on Tuesday morning, October 12.
At around 6:45 a.m., authorities were requested on-site at a crash on Turner Warnell Road.
Reports from authorities show that a 79-year-old female was walking across Turner Warnell Road, near Mazourka Drive, when she was struck by a pickup truck.
The woman sustained severe injuries in the accident and was subsequently pronounced deceased.
The driver of the vehicle remained on-site and cooperated with law enforcement. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
No other injuries were reported.
