Austin, TX – Man Fatally Struck by Vehicle on N Lamar Blvd near Rundberg Ln

Austin, TX (May 20, 2022) – A pedestrian has lost his life after a result of a motor vehicle accident reported on Wednesday morning in the Austin area. On May 18, the Austin Police Department responded to the scene of an accident on North Lamar Boulevard.

Reports provided by APD indicate that a truck and a van collided on North Lamar Boulevard at the intersection of Rundberg Lane. The impact of the crash caused one of the vehicles to go off the roadway and strike a man who is standing at a bus stop.

The pedestrian suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.

At this time, the Texas Department of Transportation is investigating the collision.
