Austin, TX – Motorcyclist Loses Life in Crash on US-290 near S View Rd & Circle Dr

Austin, TX (April 16, 2022) – One person has lost their life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Travis County, according to reports. At around 1:46 a.m., on April 15, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on US Highway 290.

Reports provided by the police show that a motorcyclist was traveling in the 8600 block of West US Highway 290. For unknown reasons, they were involved in an accident with a second vehicle near South View Road and Circle Drive.

The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
