Austin, TX (June 25, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Austin area claimed one person’s life. Just before 3 a.m., on June 24, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 35.
Reports from the Austin Police Department show that a rear-end collision occurred in the 14700 block of North Interstate Highway 35. The incident, which involved a red sedan and a semi-truck, blocked the interstate near Howard Lane.
The driver of the car suffered significant injuries in the crash. They were transported to St David’s Round Rock Medical Center where they were pronounced deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
