Austin, TX (March 15, 2023) – A two-vehicle collision in Austin left one person dead, and another injured on Sunday, March 12.
The fatal accident took place at the 6300 block of US-290 WB at around 6 p.m. An SUV reportedly collided at the scene with a pickup truck. The driver of the SUV was transported to a nearby hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Both the driver and passenger in the pickup were also hurt and hospitalized for treatment.
No additional information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
