Austin, TX (March 15, 2023) – On Tuesday night, March 14, a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motor vehicle in Austin.
At around 9:30 p.m., the fatal accident was reported at the 12300 block of FM 620 between Lake Creek Parkway and U.S. 183. The victim was walking on the roadway when they were hit by an oncoming driver. They sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver reportedly remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No further information has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is in progress.
