Big Spring, TX – Teddy Hillis Loses Life in Crash on I-20

Big Spring, TX (January 18, 2022) – An accident reported in Howard County claimed one man’s life. At around 11:24 a.m., on January 12, the police and firefighters were requested on-site at an accident on Interstate 20.

Reports from authorities show that 63-year-old Teddy Mack Hillis was driving a 2017 Ford F-250 pickup truck when his vehicle collided with a 2019 Freightliner truck tractor-trailer.

The driver of the semi-truck, 62-year-old Scott Jerome Neal, was not injured in the accident.

Hillis sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
