Bryan, TX (February 27, 2022) – A pedestrian has lost his life following an accident in the Bryan area on Friday morning. Just before 1:30 a.m., on February 25, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash near North Earl Rudder Freeway.

Reports from authorities show that 22-year-old Jesus Morin was driving a vehicle in the 2300 block of the North Earl Rudder Freeway frontage road. For unknown reasons, his vehicle struck a pedestrian in the area.

The pedestrian suffered severe injuries in the crash. Medics rushed the victim to a local hospital for care. However, authorities confirmed that the victim passed away after arriving.

Morin was subsequently arrested for his second DWI.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
