Carthage, TX – Adam Pacetti Killed in Truck Crash on US-79

Carthage, TX (October 28, 2021) – One man has lost his life following a motor vehicle accident just outside the city of Carthage on Monday morning, October 25.

Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a 2019 Dodge pickup truck towing a semi-trailer was traveling southwest on US Highway 79. As the vehicle slowed to make a left turn into a private drive, the vehicle cut over the center line and cut off the Subaru.

The Subaru driver took evasive actions to avoid a collision with the Dodge. Instead, the vehicle collided with a 2007 Kenworth truck-tractor towing a trailer.

The driver of the Subaru, 37-year-old Adam Pacetti, sustained severe injuries in the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene to assist the victim. However, he was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of Adam Pacetti. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
