Cedar Park, TX (March 30, 2022) – A pedestrian has lost his life as a result of a traffic-related in the Cedar Park area. At around 6:30 p.m., on March 25, emergency crews were requested on-site at a motor vehicle accident on Avery Ranch Boulevard.
Reports from authorities show that a male pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk in the area of Avery Ranch Boulevard near South Bell Boulevard.
For unknown reasons, 21-year-old Ismael Sanchez struck the pedestrian with his vehicle. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Sanchez was arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
