Cross Plains, TX (February 21, 2023) – A local woman was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle outside of Cross Plains on Sunday, February 19.
The deadly accident was reported on TX-36 at around 6:54 p.m. A pedestrian was walking on the road when she was hit by a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup. The victim suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The deceased party was later identified as 38-year-old Danielle Elaine Eppard of Cross Plains. No further information on the deadly accident has been provided at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
