Crowley, TX (June 29, 2022) – Authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday morning in the Crowley area that claimed one person’s life. Just before 5 a.m., on June 28, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office responded to the site of a collision that occurred on Old Granbury Road.
Reports provided by authorities indicate that a collision between two pickup trucks occurred on old Granbury Road in the area near Floyd Hampton Road. Both vehicles sustained damage as a result of the accident and had to be towed from the scene.
One driver involved in the accident was pronounced deceased at the scene. The second driver was trapped inside their vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters.
Once removed, the victim was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital for emergency medical care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
