Dalhart, TX (February 28, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in Dallam County on Sunday morning has claimed the life of one man from Grand Prairie, Texas.
At around 1:45 a.m., on February 27, 27-year-old Oscar Diaz-Garcia was driving northeast on US Highway 54. For unknown reasons, his vehicle collided with a semi-truck on the highway.
The impact of the crash caused Diaz-Garcia to lose control of his vehicle. The vehicle then rolled over and slid off the roadway before coming to rest in a ditch.
Diaz-Garcia sustained severe injuries in the accident. Authorities arrived at the scene to render aid to the victim. However, he was pronounced deceased on-site.
