Dallas, TX (March 19, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident reported in the Dallas area. At around 1:30 a.m., on March 17, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Hudnall Street.
Reports from authorities show that a 27-year-old man was walking near the 2500 block of Hudnall Street, near Maple Avenue, when he was struck by a speeding 2021 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck that headed west through the intersection.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the accident. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
The driver of the truck, 27-year-old Richard Alexander Rojas, was later arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
