Dallas, TX (December 22, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Dallas area has claimed one woman’s life. At around 4:30 a.m., on December 20, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Julius Schepps Freeway (Interstate 45).
Reports from police show that a female driver was traveling in a gray Nissan in the 8800 block of Julius Schepps Freeway. For unknown reasons, her vehicle collided with an SUV in the left lane.
The woman sustained fatal injuries in the accident and died at the scene.
The driver of the SUV, identified as a retired police officer, was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
