Edinburg, TX (March 16, 2023) – A woman was killed after a single-vehicle accident in the Edinburg area on Tuesday, March 14.
The fatal crash occurred at the 4900 block of South 25th Avenue near Frontage Road at around 11:15 p.m. It was reported that a 20-year-old woman was driving a vehicle when it crashed. Both the woman and her 45-year-old passenger were ejected in the accident.
The passenger sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was hospitalized in serious condition. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly crash is in progress.
