Fort Hancock, TX (January 2, 2022) – An auto accident reported n Hudspeth County on Friday evening claimed at least one person’s life. At around 6 p.m., on December 31, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Interstate 10.
Reports from authorities show that a truck and a recreational vehicle collided on Interstate 10 near mile marker 78. The crash caused delays near the McNary exit, just east of Fort Hancock.
At least one person involved in the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene due to their injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
