Fort Worth, TX (October 27, 2021) – A pedestrian accident reported on Tuesday evening in the Fort Worth area claimed the life of a young male, according to reports.

At around 5:45 p.m., on October 26, calls came in surrounding an accident on West Loop 820.

Reports from authorities show that a group of three juveniles was attempting to cross the West Loop 820 in the area near Camp Bowie Boulevard. For unknown reasons, a vehicle passing through the area struck one of the children.

The victim, identified as an 11-year-old male, suffered fatal injuries in the incident. The young victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Crews closed down the southbound lanes of West Loop 820 for an extended period as they worked to clear the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
