Fort Worth, TX – Two Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Martin Luther King Jr Freeway near Berry St

Fort Worth, TX (January 3, 2022) – Two people have lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Fort Worth area early Sunday morning. Just before 2:15 a.m., on January 2, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Martin Luther King Jr Freeway.

Reports from the Fort Worth police show that a pickup truck and an SUV collided during the early morning hours in the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Jr Freeway after one of the vehicles were traveling the wrong way on the highway. The impact of the crash caused both vehicles to burst into flames.

Both drivers suffered fatal injuries in the accident and were pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
