Friendswood, TX (June 16, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the Friendswood area claimed one woman’s life. At around 12:30 a.m., on June 13, the police, firefighters, and medical personnel responded to the scene of an accident on Sandy Lake Drive.
Reports provided by the police show that a 64-year-old woman was moving a trashcan onto the curb of her home located in the 1900 block of Sandy Lake Drive.
For unknown reasons, a vehicle struck her.
The woman was located by emergency crews at the scene with significant injuries. She was transported to a hospital in Webster where she later died from her injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
