Glen Rose, TX (February 9, 2022) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Glen Rose area on Saturday, February 5.
Reports from the Texas Department of Public Safety show that a 2011 Jeep Liberty was traveling south on Texas State Highway 144 when the driver, Juan Manuel Carrillo, failed to navigate a turn. As a result, his vehicle crossed over the center stripe and collided head-on with a 2018 GMC pickup truck.
30-year-old Aimee Elisabeth Prater sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased. 34-year-old Christopher Prater and a 2-year-old passenger in their vehicle were both transported to hospitals in Fort Worth for medical care.
Martinez was subsequently arrested for intoxication manslaughter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
