Fatal Auto Accidents in Texas
Motor vehicle accidents in Texas claim the lives of nearly 4,000 people every year. In many cases, victims suffer fatal injuries in accidents due to the negligent actions of other drivers sharing the road. Accidents involving semi-trucks and commercial vehicles account for more than 530 fatal crashes. These vehicles are much larger than other passenger vehicles sharing the road. As a result, they are more likely to be destructive in collisions.
Victims can lose their lives in crashes for a variety of reasons. Sharing roads with drivers who are speeding, impaired, or distracted can drastically increase the chances that accidents will occur.
