Hill County, TX (October 23, 2022) – A crash involving multiple vehicles occurred in Hill County that resulted in fatal injuries. On October 20, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an auto accident on Interstate 35.
At around 5:30 p.m., emergency crews were notified that a collision involving a Hyundai Elantra and a Freightliner semi-truck tractor-trailer occurred on the northbound side of Interstate 35. The impact of the crash caused the Hyundai to spin and strike a Volvo semi-truck.
The driver of the Hyundai was ejected from their vehicle. The victim was fatally injured and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
