Fatal Car Accidents in Texas
Motor vehicle accidents reported in Texas claim the lives of more than 3,800 people each year. These accidents can often be contributed to some form of negligence. In fact, nearly 80% of accidents in our state are due to driver error. Some leading causes of collisions we see each year include:
- Driving while impaired by drugs or alcohol
- Using cell phones to talk or text while driving
- Eating while operating vehicles
- Driving recklessly

When victims lose their lives in accidents, they often leave behind family and loved ones who are forced to move on. Dealing with the mental and emotional challenges during the grieving process is only made worse by towering medical expenses, funeral costs, and other financial burdens.
