Houston, TX (February 14, 2022) – A crash in Houston on Thursday evening claimed the lives of a man and woman. At around 11 p.m., on February 10, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Hollister Street.
Reports from the Houston Police show that a Silverado pickup truck was traveling through the 5300 block of Hollister Street when it collided with a sedan near Highway 290.
A passenger in the Silverado, 23-year-old Cindy Vasquez, was ejected from the vehicle. Vasquez was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
The driver of the sedan, 25-year-old Adam Phillips, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the Silverado was transported to a local hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
