Houston, TX (March 4, 2022) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a crash on Tuesday evening in the Houston area. At around 7:40 p.m., on March 1, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on Gulf Freeway.

Reports from authorities show that a 29-year-old female was driving a black Ford F-150 pickup truck north in the 19000 block of Gulf Freeway. For unknown reasons, the front tire of her vehicle came off. The truck then became disabled near the right shoulder of the roadway.

The female driver exited the vehicle and called her friends as she stood next to the vehicle.

At the same time, a white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck traveled north on the roadway and struck the Ford and the woman.

The woman was severely injured in the accident. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pronounced her deceased.

At this time, investigations surrounding the accident are underway.

We would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family of the woman who lost her life in this accident. Our thoughts are with them at this time.
