Houston, TX (February 20, 2023) – A man in Houston was killed after being hit by two cars overnight early on Monday, February 20.
The deadly crash was reported on Interstate 45 near Griggs Road just past midnight. The man was trying to cross the highway when he was hit by a white Nissan. The impact caused the vehicle to flip, and the pedestrian was then hit by another driver.
The injured party sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan showed signs of intoxication and was taken into custody.
Charges are pending at this time.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the deadly accident is in progress.
