Houston, TX (May 5, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Harris County on Monday evening has taken the life of one man. At around 9:30 p.m., emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Fry Road.
Reports from authorities show that a man was exiting a private driveway out of a McDonald’s parking lot located in the 1800 block of Fry Road. As he attempted to make a left turn onto the roadway, his Honda Odyssey was struck by a silver Hyundai Sonata. The impact of the crash caused the Honda to spin around multiple times before colliding with a blue Dodge Challenger.
One person became trapped inside their vehicle. Firefighters rushed to the scene to extricate the trapped victim. However, he was pronounced deceased on-site due to his injuries.
Three teens inside the Hyundai sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals.
In 17-year-old involved in the crash was later arrested for driving while intoxicated.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
