Houston, TX (November 23, 2021) – One person has lost their life following a crash early Saturday morning. At around 3 a.m., on November 20, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at an auto accident on Southwest Freeway.
Reports from the Houston Police Department show that a vehicle was traveling on the Freeway when it was struck by a truck. An HPD cruiser was also struck during the incident.
The driver of the vehicle that was rear-ended suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene.
No other injuries were reported.
At this time, the circumstances surrounding the crash are under investigation.
