Houston, TX (April 8, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Harris County on Wednesday, April 6, claimed one person’s life. Just after 5:20 p.m., emergency crews in Harris County were dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on Veterans Memorial Drive.
Reports from authorities show that a female pedestrian was traveling in the 9900 block of Veterans Memorial Drive during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, she was struck by a vehicle.
The woman sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. Authorities pronounced her deceased at the scene.
The driver of the vehicle remained on-site and spoke with law enforcement.
