Houston, TX (January 26, 2022) – One woman has lost her life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in Harris County on Sunday afternoon. On January 24, emergency crews were notified that their assistance was needed on-site at a crash on Katy Freeway.
Reports from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office show that a Dodge Ram pickup truck and a Dodge Charger collided at the intersection of Katy Freeway feeder and Mason Road.
A female passenger in the Dodge Ram suffered fatal injuries on-site and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Three other people in the Dodge Ram sustained injuries and were transported to area hospitals for care. A fourth victim, the driver of the Charger, was transported to a local hospital for care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
