Hunts County, TX (May 26, 2022) – One man lost his life as a result of a pedestrian accident on Monday evening, May 23. At around 9:20 p.m., the Huns County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place on County Road 751.
Reports from authorities show that a 19-year-old male pedestrian was walking in the area of County Road 751 during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, he was struck by a patrol car operated by a hunts County Sheriff’s Deputy.
The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the Texas Department of Public Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.t
