Katy, TX (February 8, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Katy, Texas on Sunday claimed one person’s life. On February 6, emergency crews were requested on-site at a crash on Franz Road.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on Franz Road in the area of Westgreen Boulevard. Preliminary investigations determined that 24-year-old Renzo Olan-Flores was driving a Mazda east through the intersection of Franz Road and Westgreen Boulevard when his vehicle collided with a gray 2017 Ford Fusion that was traveling north. The impact of the crash caused the Mazda to roll over.
Olan-Flores sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
