Killgore, TX (March 7, 2023) – A two-vehicle crash in Kilgore left one person dead and three others injured on Saturday night, March 4.
The deadly accident took place at the intersection of Goforth Road and FM 3053 at around 6 p.m. It was reported that a 47-year-old Cedar Hill man was headed west in an SUV as a 64-year-old Longview man was traveling south in a pickup truck. It was reported that the SUV failed to yield at the intersection, and the two vehicles collided.
A 68-year-old Dallas woman riding in the SUV sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers and a passenger in the pickup were hospitalized for treatment.
No further information has been provided.
An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
