Fatal Plane Accidents in Texas
In 2022, plane crashes claimed the lives of more than 170 people. These accidents are often disastrous due to the impact of the collision. Regrettably, many airplane crashes that occur across the country are preventable. There are several factors that continue to contribute to the number of plane crashes we see. Some of the most common include:
- Pilot errors: In many instances, pilots are not properly trained to handle emergency situations or they make mistakes that cause the plane to crash.
- Mechanical failure: This can be due to a variety of factors, such as bad weather, improper maintenance, or faulty parts.
- Inclement weather: If the weather is too severe, it can cause the plane to lose control and crash.
- Air traffic controller error: Air traffic controllers are responsible for ensuring that planes stay safe while in the air and avoid collisions. However, sometimes air traffic controllers make mistakes that can lead to devastating accidents.
