Longview, TX (May 4, 2022) – One man lost his life following a motorcycle accident in the Longview area on Saturday evening, April 30. Just before 7 p.m., the Longview Police Department was dispatched to the scene of an auto accident on North Eastman Road.
Reports from the police show that a man from the Ore City area was riding a motorcycle northbound on North Eastman Road. For unknown reasons, a Lexus sport-utility vehicle made a left turn in front of him at the intersection of Hawkins Parkway.
As a result, the two vehicles collided. The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident. The police department secured a portion of the roadway as they work to clear the area.
The rider was declared deceased at the scene from his injuries.
At this time, investigations surrounding the crash are underway.
