Longview, TX (May 4, 2022) – One man has lost his life as a result of a motor vehicle accident in the Longview area on Saturday afternoon. At around 1:30 p.m., on April 30, the Longview Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on West US Highway 281.
Reports from the police showed that a man was driving a Suzuki motorcycle East on US Highway 281. For unknown reasons, his motorcycle collided with a Ford escape in the 1300 block of the roadway near Bodacious Barbeque.
The motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. At this time, investigations to determine the cause of the crash are underway.
