Longview, TX (February 24, 2022) – A crash reported in the Longview area on Monday evening claimed one man’s life. At around 8:30 p.m., on February 21, the Longview Police Department responded to the scene of a crash on Fourth Street.
Reports from authorities show that a male pedestrian was traveling in the 1900 block of Fourth Street during the evening hours. For unknown reasons, a pickup truck traveling through the area struck the man.
The pedestrian sustained severe injuries in the crash. He was rushed to a local hospital where he later passed away from his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
