Longview, TX (January 4, 2022) – A motorcycle crash reported in Gregg County on Monday has claimed one person’s life. On January 3, emergency crews were notified that a major crash took place on US Highway 259.
Reports from authorities show that a motorcycle and a Jeep collided on US Highway 259 in the area near Tyron Road. The crash caused delays throughout the area as crews worked to clear the scene.
The rider on the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries. Gregg County Pct. 1 Judge B.H. Jameson responded to the scene to pronounce the victim deceased.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
