Loving County, TX (May 31, 2022) – Several people have lost their lives as a result of a motor vehicle accident that took place on Monday morning in Loving County. At around 8 a.m., on May 30, the Texas Department of Public Safety was dispatched to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Highway 652.
Reports provided by DPS indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision on Highway 652 in the area of County Road 300. The vehicles blocked the roadway, causing severe delays throughout the area.
A total of six people suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. Two other people were transported by helicopter to area hospitals with critical injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Texas Department of Public Safety.
